Palas – an ultra modern temporary hall with character
At Herzogenaurach, on the 27th of April, Losberger presented its new event and trade fair hall concept Palas to customers from different industries. This sneak preview was an occasion to get a first impression of this new variable mobile structure prior to the official market launch.
The new temporary hall structure was a complete success – owing to its straight-line architecture, cubic shape and generous glazing. Palas allows for fantastic design possibilities. Inside and outside. And all that in the literally high Losberger quality. Different possibilities of façade structuring – horizontally or vertically – stand for clearly contemporary and representative architecture. This combination is unique in tent construction. Depending on the respective requirements, wall elements made of PVC or multi-panel insulating glass can be selected. The stylish and contemporary full height glass façade provides optimum light conditions within the structure, with the innovative window element design providing an uninterrupted panoramic view of the external surroundings. Moreover, the insulating roof membrane, consisting of double-shell thermo covers, ensures improved usage of energy and reduced loss of energy – and the two-storey solution Palas Emporium creates an optimum space adventure.
In line with Losberger’s system compatibility, Palas was developed on the basis of the equipment levels of the Losberger P1 and P3N systems, but will in future be defined as an independent large tent system with new specifications and characteristics in the product portfolio of the supplier of event tents.
The basic tent shape has a slightly inclined saddle roof with only 7 degrees of inclination and a side wall height of 8 metres. The circumferential 2.50 m high roof parapet serves as architectural element and communication platform at the same time.
The name Palas is derived from Latin and in the Middle Ages it was the expression for the representative rectangular hall of a castle. As of the 28th of June 2012, Losberger will present the new product at its own company premises at Bad Rappenau-Fürfeld for all those who could not make it to the sneak preview.
