The coolest ice rink comes from Amsterdam

"De coolste Baan van Nederland" is a 400-metre-long ice rink in Amsterdam. Losberger De Boer built more than 18,500 m² of usable space and 6,000 m² of mobile event areas in the midst of the historic sports facility.

 

On 18 January 2018, the day finally arrived: The coolest ice rink in the Netherlands was officially opened in Amsterdam. "De coolste Baan van Nederland" is a 400-metre-long ice rink with a wide range possibilities of use, from recreational activities and competitive sports to entertainment and show business. Since 19 January, the rink has been open to the public and the tickets are in great demand!

 

The venue is the Olympic Stadium in Amsterdam, which actually used to be an ice skating centre. With the 'Location in Location Concept', Losberger De Boer built over 18,500 m² of usable space and 6,000 m² of mobile event space in the midst of the historic sports facility within only 21 days.

 

Until 28 February, all ice sports fans have the opportunity to do their rounds on the coolest rink in the Netherlands. Whether ice skating, curling or speed skating, the rink leaves room for all these disciplines. Numerous entertainment events also take place on the ice, the arena offers enough space for spectators. A special highlight will also take place from 9 to 11 March 2018: the coolest Baan van Nederland hosts the ISU World Allround Speed Skating Championships.
