Bauma enjoys record numbers – Losberger shows its portfolio

On April 21, Bauma – the 30th International Trade Fair for Construction Machinery, Building Materials Machinery, Mining Machinery, Construction Vehicles and Construction Equipment – ended with a deafening chorus of horns from the construction machinery. In the course of seven days, the Messe München (the Munich trade fair) welcomed around 500,000 visitors from 200 countries, which meant a new record this year. The acceptance of this year's fair was overwhelming, and Klaus Dittrich, the chairman of the managing board of Messe München, said that he was more than satisfied. A total of 3,420 exhibitors – 1,346 national, and 2,074 international companies – from 57 countries presented the latest products from the building and mining machinery sector on an area of 570,000 square metres, itself a record. The numbers of exhibitors and visitors were higher than ever, and consequently the trade fair has strengthened its position as the world's most important trade fair in the field of building construction.

With its temporary space solutions in the outdoor area, Losberger created additional thousands of square metres of exhibition space for a wide range of exhibitors and their requirements. As well as large, heavy exhibits, and impressive shows, the exhibition tents were elements of stand design and brand presence as part of the corporate identity of the relevant companies. This year, there was emphasis on the large range of tents in Losberger's portfolio of products: from big two-storey round tents to glass tent units and also to new cubic products, for example Losberger's Cyclone. The company of GRAEFF Container und Hallenbau GmbH, which is a subsidiary of Losberger GmbH, supplied additional modular systems in the form of pavilion and hall modules. This resulted in an outdoor series of attractive trade fair pavilions which are ideal for the appropriate presentation of products and services. This year, the Losberger group supplied a total of around 25 different space solutions for outdoor trade fairs – this includes the latest products and innovations for the building construction and mining machinery sectors.

On the one hand, Losberger tents and halls increase the existing potential for halls at major international trade fair sites, and on the other hand, complete trade fairs are held in them. Up to 30,000 square metres of covered space are not uncommon. However, the mobile space solutions can function as event and party tents on companies' own sites, or also as a “trade fair stand“ for visitors to the outdoor area, such as at the Bauma trade fair. In this case, we distinguish between exhibition and event areas.

The next Bauma will take place in Munich from April 11 to 17, 2016.
