First class hospitality at the world's largest trotting race

The Grand Prix d'Amerique

In the end of January 2020, the Paris Hippodrome Stadium became the venue for one of the most famous horse races in Europe. Losberger De Boer provided first-class hospitality locations in accordance with the highest quality and safety standards.

100 years ago, the French hosted the very first Grand Prix d'Amerique as a tribute to the help of the Americans during the First World War. Over the years, the tournament has gained in popularity and prestige and attracted many visitors and drivers from all over the world. Today it is known as the largest trotting race in the world.

The VIP-Hospitality area

40,000 spectators cheered on the horses and their drivers as they competed for the title of 'World Champion Trotting Horse' and 900,000 € prize money. Some visitors were able to experience the snorting of the horses, beating of the hooves and shouting of the drivers at first hand in the VIP hospitality area in the middle of the race track.

The event agency iEvents commissioned sports hospitality expert Losberger De Boer to build the VIP area. With a 15 x 35 m Alu-Vista hall and a 15 x 20 m Premier with spectator platform, the available space on site was used optimally.

Flexible use of space without disturbing poles

The upper floor of the Premier hall can be used as a spectator platform or, in combination with other structures, as a spacious terrace. In order to support the client’s creative freedom, the Premier space solution was developed without disturbing poles.

Horizontal glass panels for best view

The two event halls were equipped with horizontal wall elements of glass and PVC. In addition, the middle part of the spectator platform was raised by a podium in order to provide guests in the back rows with the best possible view as well.

Fire-resistant materials and safe anchoring

At sporting events with numerous spectators, athletes and even animals, mobile space solutions must be reliable and secure. In the event of material failure caused by extreme weather conditions, earthquakes or fire, the safety of human and animal life is at risk. For this reason, the Losberger De Boer team works with fire-resistant materials and processes certified to quality standards (EN NEN 13782, ISO 9001, 14001 and VCA**).
