The Canadian singer and entertainer Gregory Charles needed a mobile music theatre for his “Vintage Show” with 1000 seats, a large show stage and the possibility of travelling round the world with it: a large sized temporary event hall which can be erected and dismantled within a few days. With its cubic architecture and its expansive horizontal glass facade, the Losberger event hall Palas offers spacious, elegant and optimised ground plans with a high level of equipment. Apart from the mobility, this versatility, an impressive side height of eight metres and the high-quality finish “Made in Germany” were ultimately the crucial factors for Charles for deciding on the Losberger construction.

The Losberger event hall Palas has a span of 25.5 metres, a side height of 8 metres and a length of 55 metres (floor space ca. 1,500 square metres). The Palas is equipped with: a surrounding 2.50 metre high parapet, 25 x 55 metre system cassette floor, two “mezzanines” (20 metres x 5 metres x 4 metres) with access staircases and a double shell thermo roof cover. The facade consists of horizontal glass elements as well as vertical black PVC system cassette walls.

With the professional support of a Losberger supervisor and a qualified assembly team the Palas was erected on schedule in ten days. The “Vintage Theatre” celebrated its world premiere on 29 May 2013 at the Jacques Cartier Pier in the Old Port of Montreal. The press and the audience were enthusiastic about the first show and the unique event location. 47 performances are planned in Montreal. After that, the mobile music theatre will set off on its travels.
