Germany and France celebrate

An exhibition takes place in a Losberger tent to celebrate 50 years of the Elysée Treaty

In 2013, Germany and France are observing the 50th anniversary of the signing of the Elysée Treaty and, in consequence, the cooperation between Germany and France which resulted. This political highlight will be celebrated by both countries with many joint activities and meetings. In April, the "Adenauer - de Gaulle: Wegbereiter deutsch-französischer Freundschaft" (= "Adenauer – de Gaulle: Trailblazers for German-French friendship") exhibition held on the Odeonsplatz in Munich provided insights into the past and present of Franco-German ties. To make all this possible, Losberger GmbH supplied the mobile marquee solution for almost 500 square metres of exhibition area. The French Consulate General was the initiator, and the fact that the Odeonsplatz was chosen as the location was especially symbolic, because it was here that, on September 8, 1962, General de Gaulle gave his speech to the Bavarians.
