Since the worldwide outbreak of the coronavirus, many people have been asking themselves who in their environment might carry the infectious disease. The fact that we are unable to detect a large number of infected people is especially concerning in places with heavy passenger traffic, such as airports, train stations, or supermarkets.

 

One effective way to check highly frequented streams of people is to use intelligent thermal cameras that quickly and accurately screen people for elevated body temperature. In this way, people with fever-like symptoms can be detected early and thus, further infections prevented.

 

These so called non-contact temperature screening systems can be installed within our modular space solutions for maximum flexibility and protection. Especially as an outdoor solution in form of a separate control and accreditation area, temperature measurement achieves the best results.

 

In Detail, thermal cameras measure the heat signature of up to three people per second with a precise measurement tolerance of ± 0.3°C. Due to the intelligent face recognition function, external heat sources such as hot drinks do not lead to measurement errors.

 

Continuous body temperature control forms the basis for further preventive measures and at the same time creates a greater sense of security for all visitors and employees of public facilities.
