One day before Daimler AG's main shareholders' meeting in Berlin, and exactly ten days before the start of the International Auto Show in New York, Mercedes Benz USA held its deal event in the "Residenzschloss" Ludwigsburg, Germany. In addition to the supporting programme and the factory and museum tour, around 700 invited American Mercedes Benz dealers and their guests celebrated the "125 years of the automobile" jubilee with a gala evening in an exclusive tent ambience and against a breathtaking castle backdrop.

The Losberger event tent hire team has already organised many anchor-free special projects in the Ludwigsburg "Residenzschloss". They were also first choice at this dealers' conference  for VAN WYCK & VAN WYCK, the New York events agency, which was entrusted with the overall execution of the event. The highlight of the evening was the putting together of a combined ground and in-the-air firework display with a laser show. While some of those present were still dining at round tables, a pyrotechnical symphony with rockets started, supported by live music and special light effects. The guests were able to enjoy the view of the presentation in the castle park through the completely transparent Losberger tent roof and the all-round glass side walls.

 

In the jubilee year, the Mercedes Benz brand is planning a number of events linked to the 125th birthday. The "Automobilsommer 2011" in Stuttgart started with the two-day opening event "125 Jahre Auto" (125 years of the automobile) on May 7 and 8. During this weekend. high-value Losberger tents with more than 2,000 square metres of space stood on the "Schlossplatz", where they were primarily used to display well-known automobile brands.
