The Football World Cup is the biggest sport event in the world, in terms of viewers, surpassing even the Olympic Games. A global event of this magnitude demands extensive coverage and high-quality content, especially in Germany, a football-mad nation and traditionally a powerhouse in the footballing world.

A dedicated temporary TV studio
These mega-events oftentimes require additional broadcasting space, as existing studios are already in use. In recent years, TV networks often choose for a dedicated temporary studio, from which all programs surrounding a major event can be filmed, produced and aired.

To that effect, Losberger De Boer delivered a high-end temporary TV studio, that could be used by both ARD and ZDF, and would cater to both stations’ every need. The building consisted of a 25 x 30m Delta Vista with a side height of 6m, including heating, lighting, decorations and a large banner. To create a separate, yet fully integrated entrance, we used a 10 x 15m Kubo. We also delivered catering space for guests and personnel by using two Alu Halls with a heavy-duty floor, which was connected to the main building using a 3 x 40m Walkway.
