Job Overview:

The role of a Project Manager at Losberger De Boer (LDB) is to plan, direct and manage the delivery and completion of temporary and semi-permanent space solutions for our clients.

You will be responsible for project delivery, working closely with our internal teams and clients to ensure that projects are delivered efficiently and safely, exceeding client expectations. We expect you always to represent Losberger De Boer to the highest professional standards.

  • IT/software knowledge – Excellent Microsoft Office. Preferably SAP and CAD (training will be given if not).

 

Responsibilities:

  • Initial Planning & Preparation: Work with the relevant project team to fully understand and take control of the project brief. In addition to this, you will manage material reservations and changes with the Sales and Contract Office (LDB central logistics organisation).
  • Work with SAP system – training will be given.
  • Preparing contracts, drawings and invoices.
  • Liaise with the Design and Engineering Department to ensure drawings and technical information is up-to-date and accurate.
  • Account management: attend client meetings and site visits as necessary.
  • Budget management.
  • Carry out regular project planning updates with relevant stakeholders.
  • Planning and procurement with the supply chain.
  • Organise and allocate tools, plant and equipment for build and dismantle.
  • Prepare Project (Foremen's) Pack.
  • Keeping MyLDB intranet projects up to date – training will be given.
  • On-site and supplier management.
  • Ensure H&S (RAMS), licences, certifications, insurance, CDM are complied with.
  • Responsible for the project delivery life cycle: Initiating, Planning, Executing, Monitoring, Controlling, and Closing.
  • Delivering design and commercial support to the sales team.
  • Pro-active risk evaluation.
  • Assist and support the Sales and Planning team if and when required with pre-calculations and proposals.
  • Out-of-hours rota and occasional un-social hours.
  • Other reasonable duties may be required.
